Ordered lunch and it came faster than expected

I've tried Glovo here in Lagos for months now and honestly the delivery speed is what keeps me coming back. Last week I ordered some pepper soup and meat pie around 1pm and the guy showed up by 1:45, food was still hot which sha doesn't always happen with delivery apps. The app itself is straightforward to use and I like that you can track where your order is in real time. Not perfect but for someone working crazy hours as a journalist, having anything delivered that fast takes stress off my head.

Ordered food twice and one time was actually decent sha

Used Glovo to order lunch from a restaurant in VI and the first time delivery took almost two hours which is mad when you're hungry at work. Second order came faster and the food was still warm so I thought maybe they improved, but then I ordered again last week and same wahala, cold food and the delivery guy couldn't even find my street properly. The app itself works fine I won't complain but if the restaurants and delivery people on there don't get their act together, what's the point really. Might just stick to ordering directly from restaurants going forward because paying for delivery that slow defeats the purpose.

Glovo delivery actually came through

Was skeptical at first honestly because Lagos delivery apps can be sketchy, but I ordered food from that restaurant in Ikeja around 6pm and the guy arrived in like 45 minutes which is mad fast for Lagos traffic. What got me sha was how the food came hot and the packaging wasn't damaged or anything, so you could tell the rider actually cared about what he was carrying. The app itself is smooth to use abeg, tracking worked properly and the guy even called before arriving. Won't lie I'll be using them again because this experience beat my expectations small small.
