Used ValueJet for a trip from Ilorin to Lagos last month and I no go lie the flight itself was good, on time and the cabin crew were actually attentive. My only issue sha was booking online through their website because it kept timing out and I had to call customer care three times before my payment finally went through. For a new airline trying to compete they really need to fix that booking platform because it was frustrating when I just wanted to purchase my ticket quick quick. Overall the actual flying experience made up for the hassle though.
