Wasn't sure what to expect when my boy had to come here for his studies but abeg the way they handled everything from orientation to helping him settle in was just different. The academic staff actually took time to explain things and answer questions instead of just rushing us through like we were numbers. One lecturer in particular made sure every student understood the course structure before the semester even started. For a university this size they managed to make the whole process feel less intimidating which honestly meant a lot to me as a parent.
